What's the difference between taking DeepLearning.AI courses on learn.deeplearning.ai vs Coursera?

The biggest difference is subscription access:

  • DeepLearning.AI Pro membership: One subscription gives you access to all available courses and certificates
  • Coursera: You pay separately for each course or Specialization for DeepLearning.AI content (DeepLearning.AI courses are not available through Coursera Plus)

 Content, quizzes, and certificates:

  • Course content and quizzes are identical across both platforms (for courses available on both).
  • Certificates are issued by DeepLearning.AI on learn.deeplearning.ai and by Coursera on Coursera.
  • Both certificates are equally valid and are signed by the course educators.

 Course availability:

  • Most DeepLearning.AI courses are available on both platforms, but it is important to check which platform your desired course is available on.
  • Some courses (like AI Agents by Andrew Ng) are exclusive to learn.deeplearning.ai
  • DeepLearning.AI is now our primary platform where we launch new content first

If you want access to our full course library with one subscription, use DeepLearning.AI Pro. If you prefer Coursera's platform or only need specific courses, Coursera works too—the course content is the same, and both certificates are valid.
