What should I do if my Pro membership payment fails?
Sometimes payments fail due to issues with your card, bank, or technical errors. This article explains what happens when a payment doesn’t go through and the steps you can take to fix it.
Why payments can fail
- Your card is declined by the bank.
- Your payment details are outdated or expired.
- A technical error occurs during checkout.
- Your bank blocks the transaction for security reasons.
How failed payments are handled
- Our payment processor, Stripe, will automatically retry the charge.
- You’ll receive an email notification if a payment attempt fails.
- If payment attempts continue to fail, your Pro membership may be suspended or canceled.
What you can do
- Make sure your payment details are up to date.
- Update your card or billing information in your Plan settings.
- Contact your bank to ensure they aren’t blocking the transaction.
